These speakers have great sound and great quality. Sometimes if the volume is up too high, there is some slight distortion, but if I have them turned up that high, they blast me out of my whole house anyhow! The sound carries unbelievably and can easily be heard throughout a 1500 sq. foot house when not even on the highest volume.

I am happy with the selection. I brought these for my cubicle at work. The sound is great in this environment. At times my co-workers ask me to pump up the volume and I still get quality sound. However, don’t expect to use these for a party.

Customer Review: Easy trick for removing from grill
I used an open paperclip to help remove the front grill. It fit into the holes on the grill and made it much, much easier to remove.

Customer Review: Great speakers for finished basement
I recently installed a few sets of these Polk speakers into our basement. One set was used in a drywalled-ceiling (in a gym) and another set was used with a drop ceiling (Armstrong 24″x24″ Brighton Ceiling Panels, sold at Lowes) in the main room of our basement. The speakers were pretty easy to install in both settings and work well. I have them hooked up to a stereo for music only…no surround sound off of them.
