Making a handle to the Internet over the weekend, I found an interesting fact, studies have shown that effective communication and charismatic leader of a more "image" of words and images in your language others.

Although I have never discussed before instinctively knew this only to be true. Great speakers use the images a lot. Think of a great orator. I bet you use pictures and descriptive language to stir up their words to life. Take advantage of Dr. MartinLuther King "I Have A Dream" speech as an example. Dr. King uses strong images:

"Now is the time to leave the dark and desolate valley of segregation and the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time when our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to lift the solid rock of brotherhood."

The inclusion of these words means you can only create an image in your mind that is so powerful. Who can listen and not think about the contrast between theObliteration or a valley dark and sunny, in a way?

Great speakers like Dr. King did not tell you how to think or feel - they will use words to paint pictures in your mind's eye, you stop feeling it.

Metaphors are often used to actually hook an idea in my head. Winston Churchill the term "Iron Curtain" of misery and desolation of half of Europe share the other is described in the postwar period. The Soviet Union and the United States had not only a difference of opinion –they had a "cold war". Muhammad Ali called himself "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" - to help these metaphors, powerful images that appear in connection with what speakers to create an image.

Alternatively, images can be woven into submission through stories. Stories are our currency, as human beings - all our shows, whether film, television or music based on the stories. Years ago we had before television and film andeven before that lived in cities, people communicate, make connections with others and talk about stories to tell. If you pack your most important points in a human interest story, then you are a winner.

It is something that is inherent in all of us - usually we forget a little about it on the road, always lost in the "dry" and "gray" world of work. The good news is we can say about our ability to regain the use of stories and photos easily.Think about why the information will be presented important, what is the human face of it? Why public? What is the history behind it? What could be the benefits? - When the sales that are able to say, their jobs, as expected. And why not go one step further? Describe how great Christmas morning can be for their children, to know the presents under the tree and the pleasant sensation of heat to get little Johnny loved his bike after all? Ortalk about how the team has worked hard to draw the numbers on a line - and give anecdotes and examples that show the human side of things.

Includes stories and pictures in our presentation, it makes us no less professional - makes us professionals, because our task involved as speakers and take the audience on a journey with us.
