Customer Reviews Sounds great This product was easy to use and set up. I suggest getting a audio system. My TV did not have enough ports for all the speakers, so untill we get one we're only using two of the speakers and the bass. Also, it does not have a controller to adjust the volume, but again if you have a audio system, then that wouldn't be an issue either.

Customer Reviews Some Good Qualities and Some Bad Ones I have owned this unit for just about a month now and like everything in electronics it has some good features and some bad. I have this connected to a Sony LCD KDL-52W5150 via HDMI with a digital output cable routing the TV sound back to the unit. Most of the good points have been covered in other customer reviews but the best are: Integrated CD/DVD player plays both DTS Surround and DVD-Audio disks (but not SACD) and it will up convert your standard DVDs; wireless subwoofer which, when considered with the integrated DVD, eliminates a lot of cabling work when installing, and connectivity to Bluetooth media devices. However, there a few very annoying things you'll have to learn to live. First, the subwoofer's sonic performance leaves a lot to be desired. While loud, it puts out a low end that is on par with the fluffing of pillows; it booms and its sloppy. I have the SW output turned all the way down which is almost tolerable. If solid, tight bass is important to you, look elsewhere. Next, due to the manner in which the HDMI interface was implemented, turning on the sound bar results in the television automatically turning on. It doesn't matter if you have content going to the TV or not. If you try to turn your set off, the sound bar will shut off as well. Most of the time this isn't an issue however if you want to listen to music only, you have to select one of two choices: (1) stare at the Samsung logo displayed on your active television set or (2) disconnect the HDMI cable from the sound bar, then turn the set off. Quirky. I called support and was told I should instead unplug the television. After I stopped laughing, I told the tech the TV was mounted on the wall and the suggestion was not real practical. Finally, and this is really strange considering the prior point, the unit's configuration and options menu are not viewable on your TV's display, but only the very small screen built into the unit. You'll need to be within a few feet of the sound bar to read it. The remote allows you to make changes at a distance but you'll need to be standing next to the unit to see them. Just another strange design choice by Samsung. For 0, I guess you need to expect some shortcomings. Just consider how important some of these are to you before making your purchase.

Customer Reviews Pleased When I first saw the size of the speakers, I thought to myself that these couldn't possibly replace my old Kenwood speakers that I was using on my old sony 5.1 setup. They weren't even half the size.
But as I was throwing the 7.2 system up, I read the backs and realized that they supported the same wattage and Ohm's that my old speakers do.
After hooking them up, I am impressed. They take up little room and thus I have more space, and they sound just as good as my old system, if not more clear.
My only complants are that you need the second woofer on my system for the bass, so I recomend the purchase of a 7.2 reciever and another SKW-204 woofer to really utilize this system and setup.
Even after that, this system still costs less than most of what is on the market and thus is a good purchase.

Customer Reviews These are Awesome I love these speakers. I do not have the ability to describe speakers that are "crisp" or "warm". I don't even know what that means. The high ends are good. Not the best. But they are good, still adjusting my receiver, so it may not be the speakers fault. But vocals in movies sound clear and not garbled. Music souns great. And these make a wonderful surround set. The subwoofer has a great amount of kick. I am very pleased with it. It can do way more then I need, if I need to remove the pictures from my walls in the other room, I can turn it up some more. :) After adjusting the low end output from my receiver and the volume on the pack of the sub, it makes the experience very realistic. I got these on sale, and if I had the money, I can see spending more on them.
As for the accessories. The wall mounting brackets are better than I was imagining. They hold them well and set them off the wall just enough to not cause any rattling. The set also comes with wire to run, lots of wire to run. It is 18gauge, maybe 16, so not the best but it works great. I really like the design of the speakers too, with a wrap-around grill and glossy finish on the ends and on the sub. I am proud to have them in my living room, not just for the beautiful noise they make, but also for how they look hanging so nicely on the walls. Something Harman Kardon does well.
