A piece of crap
Cheap, terrible sound quality that is actually much lower/worse than an iPod ear buds placed across from you on a table.
Huge in size and it broke apart very easily in less than 2 weeks with the metal mesh falling out of place because it was very poorly designed/manufactured to start with.
I regret paying for this piece of crap.

Degrading Plastic!
I bought these speakers thinking they'd be easy and transportable. Well, first off, they're a little bigger than you might think from the picture, but that's ok. The main problem, however, is that after a few months of using them, the plastic case seems to be degrading! It's all sticky, and all sorts of cat hair and other stuff is stuck to it now. Completely disgusting. Who knows - perhaps it's toxic stuff eeking out of it.
To add insult to injury, Logitech's customer relations is *horrible*, and has fought me tooth and nail. They refused to reimburse my full cost, until I lodged a complaint with the bbb. Even then, it was tough.

Good if ur not into sound quality
I bought this product for the sole purpose of attaching them to my mp3 player so i can listen to music while i shower in the campus floor community bathrooms. I needed cheap and portability. Though I'm normally the type who needs good sound quality, i wasn't worried about it for my specific use.
With that in mind, this was a very good purchase (thus the 3 star rating). no batteries are needed, so I don't have to buy a ton of them (not that it wld take much power to begin with, but you get the idea). Nor do I have to plug it in anywhere. I just stick it into my mp3 and it's ready to go! Definitely easy to take w/ u (i never untied the cord from it's twisty). No volume control, but plays loudly enough.
But if you want the speakers for any other use, u need to spend more money than that to get better sound quality and volume control.

It was great at first...
I ordered this item in December. It's now the end of February and I'm starting to get a loud humming noise. It's not happening frequently yet, but I have a feeling it may. The humming is louder than I can keep the volume while I am at work.
Otherwise, the sound quality has been great. I don't have to use the remote so I cannot comment on the function of that.
