The woofers on the RC-10 still feature Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic(TM) material. Made with an anodized aluminum, these cones are strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts their inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range. As in all Reference Series speakers, the RC-10 crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration. Because the design requirements of a center channel are quite challenging, it is difficult to make a modestly sized, horizontally oriented loudspeaker that performs exceptionally. Best small center channel speaker!
I have a very substantial home theatre system, but have limited space available for the center channel speaker (only 6''high,17' wide). I was able to audition a Boston Accoustics center,a Definitive Technology pro1000, a Klipsch Icon xl-12 and the Klipsch RC-10 IN MY OWN LIVING ROOM! The Boston couldn't handle the power,the Def Tech was good but didn't have the high frequency detail,the Xl-12 was clean but lacked warmth and bass. The Klipsch RC-10 had it all;power handling,good bass and warmth and high frequency detail.It sounded the best of the four and was the most efficient. It's rare to be able to compare that many speakers at once,let alone in your own house, so I thought it would be helpfull to share. Bottom line-if you're limited on space for your center channel speaker, this is the one to buy. Oh yeah,it didn't hurt that I got it from J&R Music for 9.99 no tax, free shipping!

Used as the center channel of a system that includes 4-DV32's as my left/right/surround speakers. Timbre matches very well and the sound is very smooth & clear. I am extremely pleased with this speaker especially at this price point.
Low profile center speaker
This is a low profile center speaker that sits in front of the TV on my Easton console, but does not obscure the view of our Hitachi 55" LCD. This BIC America speaker provides exactly what I expected, a clear center channel for dialogue that complements my Yamaha 3-way front speakers and Cerwin-Vega 2-way rear speakers. Free shipping was a bonus.
Good Sounding
The size and price were right,both small, but that didn't mean small sound. Very good sounding speaker, vocals are clear, it can play loud, and matches nicely with the BIC DV62si bookshelf speakers I own. For 40.00 you cannot do better than this center channel.

Center Channel Yamaha NS-C125PN
Great crisp sound. Makes hearing dialogue on TV very nice - and I usually wear hearing aids. However, I don't always have to now :-)
Also, I sometimes turn the sound on full blast (by accident - due to how my TV / audio is configured) and I have not blown this speaker out, yet. Therefore, I give it a 10 on durability...

Good Value Love The Style
I have this center with 4 CS-26B bookshelf speakers for my 5.1 system. It is a very well matched group and provides excellent sound, especially for the $. I power these with 130 W/CH, which they handle well. Highs have excellent clarity, with a full, rich midrange. These speakers are only good for mid bass, and really need a sub to perform their best (I have a super Velodyne 15", overkill!), just as any 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 speaker does. I compared to Klipsch, Definitive, Polk, B&W, and others. IMO nothing will touch these for the price. I also love the classic, subdued styling.
