Works great!
Just hooked up this system. Works great. No static or pops or anything, and I live in a large apartment complex. The transmitter and receiver aren't even line of sight! I haven't worked it over yet in terms of dynamic or frequency response, but for surround speakers it seems to work perfectly.

Great addition to my HT
I bought these to replace my HTIB Yamaha's that were about 9 years old. I immediately heard the difference when i set these up. They fill up the room very nicely with crisp, warm sound. The finish on them is simply perfect. The connections in the back are great. Already comes with a mounting bracket in the back. Quality product from a quality company. I am currently using these with my Denon 3310ci AV receiver. They are accompanied by the Polk Audio CSi A4 center channel. Eventually i will finish up the surround with some Polk RM8's.

Best use of a hundred dollars you could find!
The BIC America DV62si bookshelf speakers are, without any doubt in my mind, the best use of a hundred (or so) dollars that you could possible find. I've owned Totems, Castles, Focals, Energy's, Soliloquy's and a host of others, but all of those are quadruple (plus) the cost of these BIC wonders. High end resolution in excellent, low end punch is also there (without getting in your face with artificial bang) and the midrange perfomrance on vocals, pianos, etc. is excellent. Basically, the overall sonic qualities exuded by these inexpensive monitors is amazing despite the price point. Binding post connections are an added plus!

This is not plug and play
I bought these for a friend (with his cash ;))because they sounded as if all you need to do is plug them in and enjoy great sound. THINK AGAIN. Oh, you mean you don't have 18 gauge speaker wire laying around the house or perhaps you will need the 16 gauge if its more than a 30 foot run. How about an amplifier? BOX OF THESE ARE REQUIRED!
All I want to do is plug this into my damn cable box and enjoy. Why does life have to be so complicated.
This sucks and is going right back to amazon.
